French Brittany Gun Dogs

Welcome to Young's French Brittanys! We are a small kennel located in Monterey Tn. We were first introduced to the French Brittany or Epagneul Breton in 2012 when my husband began looking for a bird dog, a few of our requirements were a small sized, close hunting, obedient dog that is excellent in the field and in the home. Needless to say we were not disappointed with this wonderful breed we chose! The French Brittany is a passionate hunting dog in the field and is content to snooze on the couch in their down time. They are wonderful with children and incredibly intelligent individuals to have in the home.  All of our dogs live in the house with us and have access to our large fenced backyard during the day. If you are looking for a member of the family as well as a superb hunting partner this is the breed for you!

 

Clubs: We are members of the Club de l' Epagneul Breton of the United States, the Georgia French Brittany Gun Dog Club, and are the Vice president of The Cumberland Mountain Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club. We recommend joining a club to have access to other EB owners/trainers as well as staying updated on events.

All of our French Brittanys are AKC and UKC Registered. All of our breeding dogs are evaluated for health, hunting ability, temperament and conformation before producing a litter. Our dogs have OFA tested hips and are N/N for the Sable Gene (AY allele). We have purchased our reproducers from a few of the top kennels in the US. All of our dogs are proven in the field with wonderful, natural pointing ability and love to retrieve on land and water.
